Meet the DBA: Holly Turner-Jones
This past April, the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior onboarded our new Department Business Administrator, Holly Turner-Jones.
Holly received her Bachelor of Business Administration (BB) at the University of Our Lady of the Lake in 2015 and her Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Texas A&M University in 2022. She is coming to us from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center with more than ten years of healthcare leadership experience. Holly was the Operations Manager and Ad Interim Department Administrator in the Department of Psychiatry at MD Anderson for the past three years. She worked with the department chair and the providers in providing oversight for the business affairs of the department, clinical and research operations, developing policies, and managing the department's financial responsibilities. She worked on several quality improvement projects streamlining and improving the department's performance. In addition to her experience and personal qualities, she has a solid healthcare administration foundation and a passion for growth and development.
When Holly is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Clifton, and her furbabies, Gizmo (cat) and Bauer (dog). She also enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
